I know I know I have not posted in a bit but I did stick to the plan yesterday but Tue I had a bit of a lapse of which I am not very proud. I went to a food tasting party with a friend and was very very good there, but on our way home we stopped in for a drink and we got lemon drops (a shot of vodka with a lemon wedge and sugar). So I had pure sugar and it must have gone over my limit. I am not sure how many grams of sugar is in one packet (of which I had 1/2).
Anyway I am not going to look at this as a failure. I would have before, and told myself that this diet is way to hard and I do not have the willpower to stick with it and I should just give up. I am however going to be proud of myself for then drinking water instead of the countless sprites I would normally order. And a big lesson learned, I will always carry some stevia packets in my purse in case I ever need a lemon drop :)
Listen, don't be so hard on your self. Just brush it off and move forward. When you are out with people that drink, just have a glass of red wine (Merlot or Cabernet savignon). That way you can have something to sip on. It's allowed. I prefer the taste of Truvia. I get it at walmart it's the cheapest place. Keep going girl - you are doing great! :-)

ReplyDeleteTruvia is the brand of stevia I use now but noticed it has 3g carbs in every packet. Are there any stevia based products like truvia with no carbs?
